Compared with manual welding, robot welding can effectively improve production efficiency, and the welding quality is also very standard, and the welding seam is very neat. Compared with manual spray paint, the advantages of electrophoretic paint are even more obvious. It not only looks beautiful, but is also more durable, and can better protect the body materials and avoid corrosion.
In addition to these two aspects, many companies are now researching and developing "modular design. Under this design approach, the standardization of trailer parts is higher, and the interchangeability between different types of trailers is also higher. This can greatly improve product design, production efficiency, and even transportation efficiency (the trailer is connected by bolts, so that it can be split into parts for transportation and assembled at the destination).
The increase in efficiency means a decrease in costs. Therefore, we can see that the quality of today's semi-trailers has been greatly improved while the overall price is basically unchanged. Even in the field of tankers, the price has fallen to a large extent.
