1、Cracking of the weld seam at the tipping beam and the web
Dump semi-trailer in the process of use, the torque is relatively large, especially the lower wing plate, the torque through the flip beam diagonal support to the flip beam, resulting in the flip beam and the web plate welding at the stress is very large, the weld seam is easy to crack.
2、Cracking of the suspension fascia plate
Generally speaking, the suspension fascia plate of dump semi-trailer has a small arc angle at the change of cross-section, so the stress is too concentrated, at the same time, due to the existence of the weight reduction hole, which greatly reduces the strength of the plate fascia plate cross-section, so it is easy to fracture. Especially when the vehicle passes through complex road conditions, twisting occurs here and cracks will appear in the web.
3、Cracking of the suspension diagonal brace and the suspension large brace
The suspension is a large area of twisting, especially when the frame is fast cornering, the lateral force on the tyre will act on the frame through the axle, leaf spring, suspension, etc., so the frame is subjected to a large moment, especially at the lower wing, more likely to twist, causing the inner and outer support plate to crack.
4、Cracking of suspension diagonal brace
Some semi-trailers have no reinforcement of the upper web of the suspension plate, and the diagonal brace of the suspension is not welded with the connecting tube, so the vehicle bears a large torque at the suspension in the process of use, and the stress of the diagonal brace plate is too concentrated, resulting in the cracking of the diagonal brace of the suspension.
5、Cracking of the diagonal brace of the subframe flip beam reinforcement
There are two general reasons for the cracking of the reinforced diagonal brace of the subframe tipping beam: the longitudinal beam of the subframe and the tipping beam are cross-jointed, with weak strength, and the tipping beam is deformed when the vehicle is turned over and unloaded; if the front and rear cylinders are not synchronized when the tipper is unloaded, the subframe is prone to twisting and cracking.
As for the reasons for the cracking of the tipper, it is mainly a matter of whether the design is reasonable and the production process is not up to standard.
Some manufacturers manufacture tipper trucks according to the design ideas of ordinary semi-trailers. In fact, in addition to the general load-bearing capacity, the design of a tipper truck should also take into account the force on different parts of the body, frame and suspension when lifting the goods by the tipper hydraulic bracket. In addition to this, whether the selection of materials is standard, whether the welding seams are solid, whether the choice of components is up to standard, etc., are all key factors affecting the quality of the vehicle.
Focus on the vehicle material selection, steel can be divided into high strength steel, manganese steel, ordinary steel, different types of steel and can be divided into different models, such as high strength steel can be divided into 700, 900, 980 and other models, its durable strength will be gradually enhanced with the rise of the model, but the weight of the body will gradually decline, of course, the cost of construction will also increase.
Production process to pass, nowadays the large trailer factory production automation degree gradually popularized, like welding, painting and other processes are realized automatic operation, processing quality has also been improved to a certain extent. Sandblasting rust removal can not be less, paint spraying to be uniform, electrophoresis coating is of course better. Paint can also be divided into alkyd paint and polyurethane paint, the latter to be more high-grade some.
The hydraulic lifting system should be stable, for example the oil circuit should be reasonably designed, the cylinders should be lifted in synchronisation, etc. After all, the hydraulic system is the power source of the tipping and unloading of the tipper, and the hydraulic system is stable in order to guarantee the normal unloading of the material.
Key accessories must be reliable, such as axles, the current market axle brands, the price difference is relatively large, the quality and performance also exists a large gap. Try to choose those who have an independent factory, with custom production capacity, introduced earlier, after the market verification of the brand, these products are more reliable, after-sales protection is also more, although the cost is relatively high, but a long-term use, can help owners reduce a lot of follow-up unnecessary trouble.
