How should the concrete mixer truck be maintained at different stages?

Mar. 30, 2021

1. Before leaving the car

1. Check, find problems and troubleshoot

The mixer truck is most afraid of the tank not turning on the road. Generally, the tank can not be stopped for more than 2 hours, and the tank of the concrete above C40 cannot be stopped on the road.

After the car is started, let the can rotate at a low speed, check the tire pressure around the car to see if there is a flat tire, check if there are stones, nails, etc. stuck in the tire, and clean it up in time.

Check the side lights to ensure that they are shining on the edges of the tires, because the construction site will often pile up debris such as steel bars, and the sidewalls are the weakest.

2. Ensure that there is enough water in the water tank and water reducing agent

When the material is too dry due to various reasons, and the material cannot be discharged without adding water, the water reducing agent is a life-saving straw, which can ensure the fluidity of the concrete.

3. Confirm that the mixing tank is in a stopped state

Because if the tank is rotating at a high speed when the engine is started, the instantaneous force will be very large, which will damage the reducer and pump motor system.

4. Check special precautions

The gear oil of the reducer and the oil of the hydraulic system (motor, oil pump, radiator) should be replaced for the first 100 hours of operation, and then replaced every 1000 hours (at least once a year).

Grease the radiator, drive shaft, raceway, tug, main groove shaft, and joystick once a month.

2. Loading

1. The mixing drum should be reversed before loading

When the vehicles are running in the first shift, reverse as much as possible, because most of them are parked in the open, there may be water, leaves and other debris in the tank. If they are not discharged, the quality of the concrete will be affected.

2. Remember to flush the hopper after loading

Otherwise, the pebbles scattered during loading are easy to solidify on the inside and outside of the receiving hopper and on the chute, which will affect the use and appearance.

Three, in transit

1. Be slow when turning corners

The mixer truck has a high center of gravity and is easy to roll over! Slow down and reduce gears before entering the corner, and try not to brake when turning. Observe whether the tank is rotating at any time through the rearview mirror, and reduce the speed as much as possible. If the speed is too high, the vehicle will easily swing.

2. Pass through low gears on bad roads

In the case of uneven roads and potholes, pass with a suitable low-speed gear to ensure sufficient power for the car. Try to avoid large pits, stones, steel bars, and iron blocks, especially heavy vehicles.

3. It is best to reduce gears in advance when going uphill

If it is full, pay attention to a gentle start, and pay more attention to uphills. Don't reduce gears randomly. It is best to reduce gears in advance. At the same time, it is best to speed up the rotation speed of the tank to prevent the concrete from flowing out.

4. Do not skid in neutral gear when going downhill

Drive in a suitable gear before driving for a long time or going downhill. Don't slide downhill in neutral gear. When going downhill and turning, slow down in advance and then reduce gears and then slow down again. Braking with gear works best.

5. Be sure to pay attention to the height limit

The road conditions on the construction site are complicated, so be careful with trees, etc., especially to prevent the wires from being scratched.

Fourth, enter the construction site

1. Try to walk in the middle when entering the construction site

Because the construction site road is simple and the roadbed is soft, driving close to the side of the road will easily cause the vehicle to roll over.

2. Get off the car in advance to check the reversing route

The mixer truck works at night. After arriving at the construction site, park the truck and check the reversing route first. If there are obstacles, pits, or relatively soft places, they must avoid obstacles, and clean them in time when they encounter steel nails.

3. Be slow when reversing

Because many roads on the construction site were just paved by the excavator and were relatively soft, the car was prone to sinking.

Start in 1st gear (the can can be stopped at this time, the can will rotate very quickly when the throttle is high in 1st gear, and the car will be more unstable) and drive slowly and at a constant speed. The reversing route should be as straight as possible. If you want to reverse repeatedly, don’t hit the steering wheel to death or hit too much, because it’s easy to stall on soft roads. When you hit the high throttle, the speed is too fast and you can easily hit objects.

5. The ash semi-trailer is unloading

1. Let the mixing tank run at full speed for one or two minutes before unloading

Let the concrete mix well, and add some water if necessary, to make the concrete mix more evenly and facilitate unloading.

2. Don't carelessly determine the relationship with the unloading worker

It is best to watch it by yourself when unwinding, so as not to operate the unwinding lever indiscriminately. It’s best to stop every time the tank is in the middle position when it is reversing, to protect the reducer, pump motor, etc

3. The mixing tank must be rinsed carefully

When washing the jar, be sure to rinse it carefully, and turn the water forward and reverse twice, and then let it out.
